2025 Christmas Friends Exchange

Such and epic exchange of gifts needs to be documented each year....

ALL of these goodies came from Joanie to me:

"Jack's Welcome by Teresa Kogut" Stand-up
stitched on 20 ct. linen using pearl 5 cottons (1 over 2):

"Stanley" the Stand-up
created by Joanie cobbling two Brenda Gervais Patterns together

(here's a much cuter picture than mine by Joanie at her house before sending)

AND...
She stitched me a Lizzie Kate Christmas piece AND finished it just darlingly...
I absolutely LOVE her bow on the handle...PERFECT! So darling and sweet and Cora loves it too!

Wait! There IS MORE!

Mrs. Claus tole painted piece
designed, painted and created by Joanie - she's a wonderful artistic mind!

Then the non-handcrafted goodies...
Joanie knows my love for Santa 💕

...and Bigfoot 🤣

here is *part* of my Santa collection (I leave out all year long)
where I placed Mrs. Claus with her man (previously created and gifted to my by Joanie)

Here are the stitched pieces I sent to Joanie - my photos stunk - so I'm "borrowing" Joanie's artistic photos - which make my humble offerings look really great! I also sent a bunch of other things in Joanie's box that were not handmade - but I didn't photograph them and honestly I can't even remember what I sent....a sketch book (she's an artist), Gingher scissors, bees wax all natural hand lotion bars, a crucifix, some 40 count linen and other stuff that I can't remember....

Hands On Design counted needlepoint ornament:

Mill Hill perforated paper Santa Ornaments

Lila's Studio Christmas Sweater Ornament

and finally the Prairie Schooler "Angels" stitched all as one piece and framed by me
The "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" part was stitched over 1 and designed and created by me

Can't wait for our Christmas 2026 exchange!
