February 20, 2026 - Safe!

Hello Friends, and thank you for caring.

I’ve received many inquiries about our safety. Last night our area did have tornadoes.
Thankfully although the South West side of Bloomington (where we live) was hit and there is damage to several homes and businesses, it missed all of us.

Thanks too goes out to my dear friend and her meteorologist son living way far away on the east coast who texted me and told us to get in our basement NOW! You know I love you and thank you both so much ❤️

Peace to you all!

  6. Hello Vonna, I am so glad I found your blog again. I am happy that you are still stitching and sharing your beautiful finishes. Social media can be time consuming and overwhelming. I get caught up with what everyone is stitching, and I feel compelled to want to stitch and purchase everything. I've had to take a step back and realize I only need to stitch what makes me happy and not be in the trend. I am happy that you have found what brings you peace in your life. I think it's awesome that you are sticking to what you believe in. We could all use kindness towards each other and understanding. It doesn't seem to exist, and I get it when you said on a post that you were tired of trying to defend yourself and stick up to those who were making it about you. It wasn't about you but about them and their own insecurities. You are someone whom I have always thought of as a bright light that brought us joy in your stitching and family. I love that you can share your life and crafts with us. You keep me inspired to keep stitching. It's good to know you are on the mend from you hip replacement and it will get better each day. We can only take one day at a time. Thank you for sharing your family, faith and your crafts. Have a beautiful day, Carolyn

  7. I sure I am glad to hear you and your family are safe. Jim and I were camping one year in the midWest. That even, tornado warnings were given and we tried to figure out where in the world we would go.The only place close to our trailer was an empty swimming pool with a fence around it. Very scary.
